Japan’s export of used construction machinery up 18.8% in 2007
Japan’s exports of used construction machinery and equipment totals 88,156 units, an increase of 18.8%, of 13,929 units more than in 2006.
According to a recant report printed in Japan Automotive News, FOB export value of used construction machinery came to about $2.804 billion.
Average FOB price of the used construction machine was$31,800 per unit.
Hong Kong was the largest destination with 23,535 units of used construction machinery from Japan.
Vietnam imported 10,151 units of used construction machinery from Japan as a 2nd largest market in 2007.
American imported 3,723 units in 2007, a decline by 38 percent compared to imports in 2006.
