Toyota Ireland are delighted to announce that they are to provide a Toyota Auris to double World and four times European boxing champion Katie Taylor for the next three years as she prepares for the London Olympics in 2012.

Katie was crowned world boxing champion in 2007 and 2008, and successfully defended her fourth European title in 2009, and has also captained the Irish women’s football team. She has represented her county at the highest level of both sports and was recognised as Irish Sports Woman of the Year in 2007 and 2008.

Speaking at the presentation of the Toyota Auris to Katie Ian Corbett, Promotions and PR Manager, Toyota Ireland commented: “Katie is a fantastic role model for all young sportspeople. Her achievements to date make her one of Ireland most successful sport stars and we look forward to supporting her quest for Olympic glory in 2012.”
