Topy Group, which includes an array of 30 subsidiaries and five affiliated companies as of March 31, 2002, is an integrated group with metal-processing operations as core. The core operations encompass the activities from manufacturing of raw materials to processing of finished products. They are identified as steel manufacturing segment, automotive and construction machinery components manufacturing segment, the segment engaged in design, fabrication and erection of bridges and related business, with effective cooperation maintained between the raw material supply segment and the processing segments. In addition to these core operations, Topy Group has been engaged in the diversification of business operations such as the real estate leasing and management of recreational/sports facilities. The most recent family member of the group is the operation to supply electric power on whole sale basis, which commenced its commercial service last year.
